Citing Iter Intellectus, a longevity researcher reports that thousands of cooperating agents read 40,000 scientific papers in 32 minutes and identified potential new mechanisms worth investigating for Parkinson-like neurodegenerative diseases — work that would take human researchers months to a year.
He goes further: most big discoveries needed to solve disease already exist in the literature; what's missing is an intelligence to cross-reference them and see the bigger picture — and that shift is happening in biotech now.
