RFD4-Proteina unifies proteins, DNA, RNA and sugars in one AI design space
AllThingsApx · x · 2026-10-21
RFD4-Proteina, a flow-matching foundation model from Baker Lab × NVIDIA GenAIR, puts proteins, DNA, RNA, sugars, and non-canonical amino acids into one shared latent space for joint biomolecular design, conditioned via anchor atoms and trained with an All-Atom Rosetta ΔE loss.
The authors report impressive benchmarks; the paper "Biomolecular design through latent reasoning with RFD4-Proteina" is out now.
