At GTC Berlin, NVIDIA and the UW Medicine Institute for Protein Design debuted RFD4-Proteina, a new open model combining programmable protein design with search capabilities. David Baker: "We are moving from an era of discovering the proteins nature has made to one in which we can design entirely new ones."
Also announced:
- Siemens Healthineers is advancing adaptive radiotherapy using NVIDIA intelligence for agentic co-planning, patient-specific simulation and robotic control
- Automata, Benchling, Danaher and others are building scientific agents on the NVIDIA BioNeMo platform, connecting drug design, autonomous labs and biological discovery
NVIDIA's Kimberly Powell said agentic and physical AI are opening new possibilities across medicine, from protein design to personalized cancer care.
