- Google Cloud will make its NVIDIA Vera Rubin-powered A5X instances generally available next month. In early tests by ad group WPP, AI agent workloads that previously needed a cluster of several servers ran on a single A5X instance.
- ConnectX-9 NICs and Google's Virgo network link racks together, scaling up to 960K Rubin GPUs across multiple sites.
- The design targets reinforcement learning loops — generate, score, retrain — where faster CPU-to-GPU and GPU-to-GPU links shorten each round.
