Salad launches Sign in with Salad: app AI costs billed to users' plans instead of developers

Salad launched "Sign in with Salad": developers add one login button, and when users sign in, the AI calls in the app (Claude, GPT, Gemini and more) run on the user's Salad plan instead of the developer's bill — no API keys to paste.
It's a novel attempt to shift inference costs to the user side, with interesting implications for indie developers' cost structures.
