RFD4-Proteina beats baselines on design success rate across four benchmarks
AllThingsApx · x · 2026-10-21
Per its research draft, RFD4-Proteina from NVIDIA and UW's Institute for Protein Design achieved higher computational design success rates and throughput than evaluated baselines across four benchmark suites: protein binding, small-molecule binding, enzyme scaffolding and DNA binding.
The model targets task-directed design: scientists and agents can search and refine designs using molecular inputs, constraints and scoring objectives, with applications from designing proteins that interrupt disease processes to detecting disease signals in diagnostics.
