SKILL makes coding agents deliver legible status updates during ops tasks
intellectronica · x · 2026-10-21
Developer intellectronica released a SKILL.md called legible-operational-status-updates that instructs agents to keep users informed with a consistent, legible format whenever they handle ops work—deployments, cloud infrastructure, service config, migrations, incident response, and troubleshooting. The skill mandates an update after every step and at least every three minutes during long-running tasks. The author says agents now do all his ops work while he just watches and nods.
