Cyberiad Labs has partnered with GDG Babcock, the Google Developer Group at Babcock University in Nigeria, to offer free course seats:
- The first 100 members start the four-week, part-time online 'Introduction to AI and LLMs' course on November 2, with free seats guaranteed in all future classes and courses.
- Nigerians were the largest group (450+ of 1,005 learners) in Cyberiad Labs' first cohort; the partnership grew from founder Julien Barbier's former learners at the university.
- The course focuses on knowing when not to trust AI: Stack Overflow's 2026 survey (30,000+ responses) found 80% of developers use AI at least an hour daily, but 48% trust output only when easily verifiable and just 6.6% would trust it for important work decisions.
