Ant International's FlowState treats execution state as memory for long-horizon LLM agents
ant-intl · hf · 2026-10-21
FlowState from Ant International treats execution state as retainable, revisitable memory for LLM agents, unifying current decision-making with reuse of historical information. It preserves semantically typed state nodes, their relations, and references to raw tool observations, separating persistent retention from on-demand access. Within each execution loop, Incremental State Update (ISU) maintains current state from new inputs and feedback, while Progressive State Access (PSA) gradually reveals historical states and guidance as needed. This reduces token use while increasing long-horizon success rates versus full-history retention or lossy compression.
