Perplexity open-sources pplx-decider models at 1/10th the cost of GPT 6 Luna

Perplexity released pplx-decider-v1.2 and pplx-decider-flash-v1.2 as open-source (Apache 2.0) models on Hugging Face. Per the Artificial Analysis Decisions Index, v1.2 matches GPT 6 Luna (low reasoning) decision quality at one-tenth the cost; flash does the same vs 6 Luna in the Decisions API, and v1.2 is 2.5x cheaper than Jev. The cost of "decisions" has dropped 10x in months.
