Rival flooring app clones competitor's AI feature just 27 hours after launch

A Reddit user shared a side-by-side screenshot mocking the AI arms race in software: flooring layout tool CalcuFloor released its 'Every cut recalculated' herringbone planner on Oct 17, and rival PlanIt shipped a near-identical AI-powered feature just 27 hours later on Oct 18, complete with an ad. Both tools output plank counts, boxes and cut pieces. The poster quips that the SDLC is about to get a whole lot faster.
