Moss-Image SFT + New DMD2 LoRA: Sharper 8-Step Generation, But Style Collapse
AgeNo5351 · reddit · 2026-10-21
A Reddit user tested the Moss-Image SFT model with the new DMD2 LoRA for 8-step accelerated generation, keeping all parameters identical to a previous base-model + DMD2 comparison and only swapping the model and LoRA. Findings: the SFT version produces sharper images and eliminates the bokeh issue of the base + DMD2 combo, but shows some style collapse — the 80s analog film texture and 90s DnD art style from the prompts come through noticeably weaker than in the original. A useful trade-off reference for speed vs. fidelity.
