Musk claims SpaceX will add 200k GPUs monthly, targeting 13GW by 2027 — analysts skeptical
JOBhakdi · x · 2026-10-21
Per Musk on the SpaceX earnings call: SpaceX will add 200k GPUs per month for the rest of this year and all of next year, mostly Vera Rubin in 2027, reaching 2.5-3GW by end of 2026 and targeting 13GW total by end of 2027 (adding 10GW). Analysts at Pioneerlands find this unrealistic — they estimate 5GW by end of 2027 (2.5GW Vera Rubin), already implying $250B+ in earnings, but may raise their estimate to 7-8GW given Musk's commitment.
