On the eve of DeepInfer's release, the author argues AI compute may not be overbuilt: at DeepSeek's current prices, 1GW of GB200 could yield $149B revenue with no slack or $100B with large slack, while serving 230 tokens/sec per user at $38/GPU-hr — far above SemiAnalysis' earlier $15B/GW figure for B200.
