Perplexity CEO Arav Srinivas announced that Perplexity Computer can now run fully local on Mac — both the model and the agent run on-device, with no cloud inference required, and it even works offline.
Users can work with native Mac apps and local files while keeping sensitive data off the cloud. The feature is available now in the Perplexity Mac app.
