DeepSeek open-sources DeepInfer inference framework powering V4.1-Flash
kingslyj · x · 2026-10-21
DeepSeek has open-sourced DeepInfer, its in-house inference framework, which powers DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash at scale with high throughput and low latency. The company says it is sharing its production stack to help the community lower compute costs, cut energy use and make AI more affordable, linking to a 4-part thread with details.
The announcement was quote-tweeted by @sidin, who joked that a Chinese lab naming a product after Zomato's founder was "super shady" and called for an Indian government investigation — a naming mix-up unrelated to the framework itself.
