XHToken released Spark-X2.6-4B (GGUF available) on Hugging Face, just over a month after Spark-X2.5. Key points:
- Same architecture as 2.5; gains come entirely from improved post-training
- Claims substantial improvements in coding, agentic workflows, long context, multilingual and reasoning; says it matches or beats 9B open-source models at this size
- Controllable thinking budget with three levels (none/low/high) to trade off reasoning quality, latency and inference cost
- Positioned for on-device / local deployment
