OpenAI acquires Orchestra Bio, whose AI agents track drug development programs

OpenAI has acquired Orchestra Bio, a company whose AI agents track drug development programs, according to Rohan Paul.
Previously, OpenAI's Rosalind line covered the science side: GPT-Rosalind reasons through biology and chemistry, while Rosalind Workbench connects models to lab tools and data. Orchestra targets a different bottleneck — the coordination work that spreads a drug program across departments, contractors and disconnected software, with agents monitoring ongoing studies.
