Kokon 0.10 turns Qwen-Image 2.1's text encoder into a prompt writer, no extra model
Ok-Director4174 · reddit · 2026-10-21
Kokon 0.10, an open-source (AGPL) desktop editor for Qwen-Image 2.1, adds Prompt+ — it drafts detailed prompts using the Qwen3-VL 8B text encoder already loaded by the model, adding 2s per image on an RTX 5070 Ti and working on 8GB cards — plus beta support for up to 3 user LoRAs. It ships its own stable-diffusion.cpp fork with 127 tokens/s text generation and bit-identical image output. The author also honestly dropped a curated LoRA catalog after testing showed popular 2.1 LoRAs don't beat Turbo with good prompts.
