LangChain ships Managed Deep Agents 0.8 with user-scoped auth, memory and HTTP channels
LangChain · x · 2026-10-21
LangChain released Managed Deep Agents v0.8, targeting the infra problems that emerge once many users call the same production agent.
Key updates:
- Identity-scoped auth and memory: user-owned credentials and user-level memory let agents act with correct permissions and remember caller-specific context
- HTTP channels: embed agents into internal tools, customer portals and support systems via webhooks
- Built-in web search powered by Parallel, plus file transfer in Slack
Managed Deep Agents bundles the Deep Agents harness with all production infrastructure in a code-first repo layout (agent.py, instructions.md, identity.py, memory.py), so teams can focus on agent behavior instead of rebuilding plumbing.
