Pikzels' website recreates a Windows 2003 desktop, complete with fake antivirus popups
gdechichi · x · 2026-10-21
Someone discovered that AI thumbnail tool Pikzels built its landing page as a full retro Windows 2003 desktop: "Task failed successfully" and "Keyboard not found" error dialogs, a fake antivirus scan offering "REMOVE ALL ($4.99)", an "ACCEPT HARDER" cookie button, and a "stop music (doesn't work)" widget. The amplifying post: "his webpage is amazing—these webdevs don't know shit."
