Eka Robotics raises $150M Series A for Vision-Force-Action dexterous manipulation

Robotics startup Eka Robotics has raised a $150M Series A, with backers including Pulkit Agrawal and Sergey Levine. Its core is a Vision-Force-Action (VFA) model combining visual perception with force feedback from robotic hands. Founder Agrawal frames generality-vs-performance as the fundamental tension in robotics — generality alone is a prototype, performance alone is a single-purpose tool — and claims Eka's VFA breaks the tradeoff. Three convictions: force is the language of manipulation, RL is how dexterity scales, and fast reliable System 1 physical execution is the bottleneck.
