Bria's Fibo 2.0 tops open-weights image editing leaderboard at $32 per 1k images
ArtificialAnlys · x · 2026-10-20
Artificial Analysis benchmarked Bria's new Fibo 2.0, an 8B-parameter open-weights image model:
- #1 open-weights model on AA-Image-Editing v2.1 and statistically tied with Qwen-Image-2.1 for the lead on AA-Image-T2I v2.1 — a large step up from first-gen Fibo on every measured capability.
- Two releases: Fibo 2.0 Dev (text-to-image) and Fibo 2.0 Edit Turbo, a faster distilled editing model.
- Weights are non-commercial licensed; commercial use requires a separate Bria agreement. API pricing is $32 per 1k images, undercutting Luma UNI 1 Max ($100), Qwen Image 2.0 Pro ($75), and Grok Imagine ($50) at similar or better quality.
- Biggest gains: text/symbol edits, text rendering, and layout.
