Arda, founded by former OpenAI exec Bob McGrew, exited stealth with an AI agent that turns CAD files into assembly instructions, already deployed across every Anduril division and cutting engineering workflows from 30 hours to 2.5.
Per CNBC, it raised at a $1.5B valuation with Felicis participating. McGrew calls it "what Claude or Cursor does for programmers, for manufacturing engineers." The three-act plan: instructions first, then robot production lines trained on them, then domestic manufacturing of anything.
