Video generation research runs on AMD MI350X, PRs merged into PyTorch nightly
vincesitzmann · x · 2026-10-20
Vincestitzmann's team, led by Hyunwoo Ryu, Eric Chen and Max Wilcoxson, trained a SOTA yet fast video planner with support from AMD's university research program using MI350X GPUs, built on a learning-from-experience framework that rolls out many experiences in parallel.
Notably, their code runs on both NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, and several PRs were merged into PyTorch nightly to ensure high video generation throughput on AMD hardware.
