He has free lifetime GPT Pro but pays for Claude Code: a full daily AI stack
tyler_agg · x · 2026-10-20
A marketing-tech blogger explains why he pays monthly for Claude Code despite having a free lifetime GPT Pro account, and breaks down his daily AI stack:
- Claude Code: handles nearly all AI coding, with Codex configured as a skill for second opinions on complex tasks
- Hermes: daily driver where all skills live, wired to Higgsfield and his own APIs — he talks to ChatGPT/Claude through it rather than their apps
- Wispr Flow: voice input to talk to agents instead of typing
- Grok bot: connected to his X account for trend tracking and data mining
- Obsidian: used purely as a swipe file for ads and posts; he never found it useful as a second brain
