GitHub Copilot CLI v1.0.101-1 ships with faster session resume, fewer unnecessary restarts for sandboxed MCP servers, showReasoning config via /config and /settings, and permission prompts that explain escalation causes with a request-specific diagnosis command. Fixes include path approval for mkdir+cd commands, direct localhost TCP access for macOS sandboxed commands, local models no longer blocking default model selection, reduced request rewrites for image-heavy Google model sessions, and support for installing team-assigned plugins from GitHub marketplaces.
