Adobe Lightroom mobile can now open closed eyes in photos with one tap
The Verge AI · rss · 2026-10-20
Adobe announced that Lightroom mobile (iOS/iPadOS/Android) now uses generative AI to open closed eyes in photos with a single tap. When the app detects a person or group with closed eyes, an 'Open Eyes' Quick Action icon appears over the image. A similar feature has existed in Photoshop Elements for nearly a decade, but it sourced replacements from other photos—the new generative approach lowers the barrier significantly.
