Cloudflare is taking ownership of tsrs, a Rust port of TypeScript that is 8x faster and uses 70% less memory than TypeScript 7.0. The project is not a fork — it's built with the TypeScript team, and that collaboration has already made TS 7.1 2.5x faster as well.
