Meta's Muse Confidential VM surfaces in web settings, subscriber-only at launch
testingcatalog · x · 2026-10-20
Meta is quietly building out Muse Confidential VM, now partially implemented in the web UI with a hidden settings panel.
- Conversations run in an encrypted environment that even Meta cannot access, and data won't be used to train Meta's AI models — a step above the existing Muse Secure VM.
- Initially limited to Meta AI subscribers, with upgrade prompts gating access.
- Voice mode, image/video generation, and wearables support are unavailable at launch.
- Meta has previously said the feature will ship before the end of 2026.
