After fighting VM and network restrictions in Codex's Dots, Muse and Grokbot, the author's setup is simply leaving a home computer running Codex and talking to it remotely. It reuses the logged-in browser, has access to local files and apps, and can actually do things — even browsing Reddit together, fetching screenshots of interesting posts. In their experience this beats dedicated personal agent products.
