Local 27B model reads leases and bills: Row-Bot + qwen3.8 fully offline
Acceptable-Object390 · reddit · 2026-10-20
A developer ran Row-Bot 5.0 with qwen3.8:27b via Ollama entirely offline (no API keys, no cloud) on personal documents. Given a year of water bills, a tenancy agreement, an insurance policy and a rent increase letter, the model charted the CSV inline with Plotly, spotted a likely water leak, quoted clauses 4.1–4.3 showing a 10% rise broke the 5% cap with only 5 weeks' notice instead of 2 months, saved 8 linked memories to a local knowledge graph, and drafted an email plus a reminder. Honest numbers: a dense 27B runs 15 tok/s on an RTX 5090, so some turns took 2+ minutes. Works on Windows, macOS and Linux.
