Google AI Overview glitch leaks raw python_interpreter tool call into search results
FlolightC · x · 2026-10-20
FlolightC shared a screenshot of Google's AI Overview (in French) leaking its internal tool call verbatim: "etrob:g:pythoninterpreter{code:no computation needed, just formatting output cleanly}". Instead of a clean answer, the raw function-call syntax — including the comment admitting no computation was needed — ended up directly in the search snippet. An amusing glitch that exposes how roughly the AI Overview handles tool-call output.
