Chile's IA en Corto AI short film festival opens 2nd edition, AI must matter creatively

IA en Corto, an online AI short film festival in Santiago, Chile, runs its 2nd edition Oct 20–24, accepting Spanish and English films. Key rule: AI must play a substantive creative role (images, animation, script, edit, sound or story) but full AI generation is not required. Four sections including sci-fi/cyberpunk, fiction/animation, psychological thriller, and vertical shorts under 2 minutes. No cash prize: 1st place gets distribution consulting from Inside Films, 2nd an AI short-film training program focused on Seedance 2.5, 3rd gets 10,000 FilmSpark credits, plus laurels in 8 categories.
