- Nscale is in talks to sell $45B of AI computing to Anthropic at its Monarch campus in West Virginia, per Reuters sources
- A second Monarch building would add 460MW of capacity using Nvidia Vera Rubin chips; Anthropic already agreed in August to spend $45B on the same campus and holds first refusal on a third building
- The deal isn't final and comes as investors question debt-funded AI infrastructure; Nscale recently lost a flagship Microsoft data center deal over power delays
