AI agent's hilarious PS5 controller SVG attempt: 'decent first pass' then Wikimedia references
teortaxesTex · x · 2026-10-20
A prompt asking an AI to render a "Playstation 5 controller SVG as html file, iterating until it's a perfect 8K real-life version" produced a revealing agent workflow.
The funny detail: the model quickly drew some slop, called it a "decent first pass," then went to Wikimedia Commons for DualSense reference images — downloading refs, extracting silhouette masks with PIL/numpy, and iterating step by step. The screenshots show genuine self-evaluation and reference-seeking behavior, but the final output still falls far short of the real controller.
