Cyborg routine: checking free memory on a JavaCard implant with a reader and Python
TechPreacher · x · 2026-10-20
A biohacker shared a slice of "cyborg life": using an ACS ACR1252 dual-interface reader and a custom measure.py script to query the JavaCard implant in his body.
The terminal output shows Applet 1.1 (Build 0.19.0) with 93,64 of 84,336 bytes persistent memory free (11% free) and roughly 66% transient memory available. Subdermal implants like this are commonly used by grinders for access control and small data storage.
