Barcelona Supercomputing Center AI Factory Accelerator Names Three AI Champions

The Barcelona Supercomputing Center's AI Factory Accelerator Programme is in full operation, giving startups sovereign compute, technical support and training, now also accessible via the NVIDIA Inception portal. An extension of MareNostrum 5 will serve AI Factories across Europe; BSC has delivered 800+ services since April 2025.
Three Inception members were named AI Champions: Qatium (water-network intelligence in early production, used by 250+ utilities in 16 countries), OneCareAI (NIM-based detection of hidden atrial fibrillation in normal-looking ECGs for stroke prevention), and Avatia (a voice-first multi-agent system for pharma sales support). Other cohort startups span precision agriculture, medical imaging, speech services and sustainable packaging.
