Gray Area and Modal present "Scaling Intelligence," an AI commissions show opening October 28 in San Francisco, where 13 artists debut new work built with industry-scale cloud compute. The pieces treat AI as a translation layer between intelligences of vastly different scales and speeds — satellite planetary views beside microbial colonies, the inside of a neural network opening onto forests and watersheds, a day of visitor conversation becoming a creature's memory.
