GPT-6 Plus users report stuttering generations and a big step back in contextual memory
ilovesaintpaul · reddit · 2026-10-20
A ChatGPT Plus user reports that GPT-6 generations have been "stuttering" for the past two days — some output lands quickly but it no longer streams like 5.6 or like GPT-6 at launch, suggesting possible throttling (screenshot included).
The author also calls GPT-6's contextual memory a "total nerf" compared to 5.6. Firsthand user observation of service quality and capability changes, not yet officially confirmed.
