Inigo Quilez: If Claude one-shots my GLSL style via a skills.md, is it still my work?

- Renowned graphics programmer Inigo Quilez (Shadertoy co-founder) poses a provocation: if Claude one-shots a GLSL shader using a skills.md that asks it to impersonate him, faithfully reproducing his shapes, lighting, animation style, math, techniques and even naming conventions — is that actually his brain's work? Should he claim it?
- His take: Claude only did the "mechanical/easy part" of imitating his usual moves.
- Replying, gandamuml speculates that recent model generations got disproportionately good at certain tasks through heavy inference-time RL training with far less reliance on human source code, which is how such personal-style mimicry becomes possible.
