How Stackelberg Alignment works: bandit leader, reputation-weighted peer judgment, DPO/GRPO
shangbinfeng · x · 2026-10-20
The framework formalizes multi-LLM collaborative alignment as a Stackelberg game: a bandit leader commits to the prompts models compete on, rewarded for how difficult and discriminative they are; follower models respond, judge one another with reputation weighting (winners gain, losers drop), and learn via DPO or GRPO.
