Mundane Bot's teleop robot lets you feel water filling a cup remotely
Scobleizer · x · 2026-10-20
Robert Scoble visited Silicon Valley's Mundane Bot, which builds industrial-strength robots for electrical line workers handling dangerous live wires. The differentiator is its haptics system: holding a cup, Scoble could actually "feel" it being filled remotely.
Force-feedback teleoperation has direct value for hazardous work like live-line maintenance, and Scoble argues robots will reshape the future of work in this space.
