uv's old approach: collect true-paths into unsimplified DNF, then prune redundant clauses
charliermarsh · x · 2026-10-20
Continuing the thread, Charlie Marsh explains uv's previous method: collect all paths in the decision diagram that lead to true, producing an unsimplified DNF, then compare clauses to drop redundant conditions — e.g., simplifying A or (not A and B) to A or B. Worked fine for small markers, but sets up the scaling problem described next.
