OpenCode bug: imported sessions always fail free-tier auth, --fork works around it
FahadBinHussain · ghdev · 2026-10-15
An opencode issue reports that session import succeeds but every subsequent message fails within 500ms with an authentication error that also pollutes the transcript. The bug is 100% deterministic regardless of history size or content, while run --session --fork works, showing imported history is fine and the import path itself breaks free-tier auth.
