Wabi 2.0 launches: a shared personal agent that runs as a group chat
joonasvirtanen · x · 2026-10-20
Wabi 2.0 is live, pitching a new form factor: an agent used together rather than alone. Instead of one-person-one-chat assistants, Wabi runs as a group thread where partners, friends, or parent groups can all join.
Examples from the launch: a school changes pickup time and Wabi updates the family calendar for everyone; it finds a movie night and books tickets; it plans a group trip by picking dates, building an itinerary, and handling bookings. It also builds the small apps you need on the fly.
Y Combinator president Garry Tan called multiplayer agents-as-group-chat "quite inevitable" and credited Wabi with building it.
