Gojo project generates 108 ornament designs from 36 skeletons with hierarchical pattern-aware coloring
debreuil · x · 2026-10-20
Developer debreuil shared progress on "Gojo," a generative ornament system that now colors and details patterns across a three-level hierarchy: overall disposition, intermediate motif, and fine ornamental detail — which the author says works at a "conceptual" level and lets him verify design hunches.
The collection page presents 36 skeletons and 108 designs, where recurring ornament and detail receive different constructions over the same skeleton. Fine detail follows parent stems, strips, or radial guides, with per-unit data on paths, chords, witnessed attachments, and seam validation, all exportable as full-size SVGs.
