Clairic's capability sheet: typed outputs, confidence scores, no output-token charges
michellechen · x · 2026-10-20
This post details Clairic's capability boundaries:
Can: extract/compute/estimate/forecast values; output strongly typed values; read from images; return confidence scores, probabilities, and character offsets for input review.
Won't: force you to enumerate all possible answers up front like a decision model; hallucinate values; return malformed JSON or impossible values; charge for output tokens; reason slowly to determine a value.
Design inspiration comes from "system one" models — fast, typed, accurate, cheap, and purpose-fit for tasks LLMs handle poorly.
