Neolab unveils Clairic, a 'system one' extraction model that reads inputs in a single forward pass
michellechen · x · 2026-10-20
Neolab introduced Clairic, a new model paradigm billed as a "system one model" — purpose-built for extracting, computing, estimating, and predicting values from unstructured inputs.
The team argues value extraction is a task LLMs are notoriously bad at: hallucinated values, malformed JSON, and refusals are common frustrations. Clairic is architected to read inputs in a single forward pass with no token generation, making it dramatically cheaper and faster than LLMs for this class of tasks.
