Generative art with three.js: lines traced along electric fields for Inktober 2025
thespite · x · 2026-10-20
Developer thespite revisits their Inktober 2025 Day 18 piece "Electric Fields I": lines are generated following an electric field, producing abstract patterns with vortex-like structures.
Built with three.js, the work combines vector-field visualization with generative art — tracing field lines programmatically to achieve an almost hand-crafted visual texture. Three finished versions in different color palettes are attached.
